The new TfL counter service building has only been open for business a few hours and already it look like it may have to close after staff report an infestation.
Unhappy staff have emailed Taxi Leaks stating that the building at 230 Blackfriars Road (nicknamed Rachael Grundy House) has an infestation of rats or mice.
It's not funny, spare a thought for the TFL staff and Met Police officers paid for by TFL who despite having a subsidised canteen, are use to being given free tea-coffee-milk-hot chocolate, thought they were getting currants in their cornflakes and porridge.
Sadly it has been leaked to Taxi Leaks, that the new building may have vermin in the form of rats or mice!
The staff that prefer the odd cup of earl grey or a bit of herbal, have found their tea-bags being invaded.
The supplies they keep in their " hot desk" pedestal drawers are showing signs of "droppings " and chewed up tea bags.
One inside source said:
"They are getting in somehow into the back of our drawers".
Our sympathy goes out to all the poor souls at the new building, from Taxi Leaks
Ending on an up note:
Talking of vermin, one outcome from "Operation Neon" has seen the replacement of the woefully inadequate signage at Novikov's by a proper TfL Ranks Notice Board.
Thank you for listening Siwan from the Mayfair Mob. Next spot Hakkansan please.
