The Powderkeg by I'm Spartacus

This last week representatives of the cab trade and PH unions have meet to discuss matters of mutual concern.

The GMB, RMT, UNITED and UCG were in attendance and whilst of course there are many areas where our interests diverge, there was unanimity on the main concern.

The woeful inadequacies of TfL.

The situation now is explosive as both Taxi and PH drivers struggle to run viable businesses in the face of TfL and the Mayor's policy of allowing a free for all where non dom corporate raiders ignore the law and put us and the public at risk.

For once it's not doom and gloom, I believe that a campaign of direct and legal action will soon be organised on a scale not seen for many a year and that will bring about rapid and profound change.

The combined membership of these unions and organisations run into the millions and its wave of solidarity that will through the city, the other organisations not in attendance need to get on board too.

So the Powderkeg is ready, one fuse has been lit, another when TfL discriminated against Maaxi, another when they turned a blind eye to plying for hire on a PH app.

Very soon the explosion that will change the game, don't put you fingers in your ears, open your eyes and GET INVOLVED.
